A 53 years old male presented with redness, pain and intolerance to light in his left eye for last two months following trauma to that eye with a bamboo stick. Examination revealed a peripheral corneal ulcer with melting all around the ulcer. There was a perforation seen at the 2 o clock position. Right eye showed keratouveitis. KOH mount and gram stain of corneal scrapping of left eye showed plenty of fungal hyphae . Blood examination showed increase in ESR and total count. Chest X ray showed right sided homogenous nodular opacity . HRCT thorax showed patchy nodular opacity. RA factor was negative. X ray SI joint, x ray knee, ankle and small joints of hands and feet revealed normal study. The case was diagnosed as a case of peripheral ulcerative keratitis with concomitant fungal infection of left eye and keratouveitis right eye.
