FP737 : A Case of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH)

Purpose: Case report.

Methods: A 30 year old female presented with headache, transient visual loss and tinnitus since 1 year and night blindness since childhood. Her vision both eyes were hand movements. Anterior segments were normal. Fundi showed pallid disc edema, atrophic maculopathy ,arterial attenuation and tapetoretinal reflex. ERG findings suggestive of RP. MRI brain revealed widened perioptic space and empty sella. CSF opening pressure was 28cmH2O and analysis was normal.

Results: Diagnosis confirmed as RP with IIH.

Conclusion:This case reported for rare association of RP with IIH.
