Siderosis bulbi is a pigmentary and degenerative condition of the eye, occurring due to retained iron IOFB for a long period. The incidence of this entity is low and occurs mostly in young males of productive age group. In this case series of 6 patients, 5 were males and one female. With a definite preceding history of trauma, all patients reported to us after the starting of the disease process. The interval between the injury and the diagnosis of siderosis was 3 months to 18 months. The diagnosis was based on clinical presentation, ERG findings and USG B-scan. There was delayed or extinguished response on ERG & IOFB could be localized on USG B-scan in all cases. In all 6 cases 23G vitrectomy & IOFB removal with the forceps was performed. In 2 cases PKE with IOL and in 2 cases lensectomy was done along with 23G vitrectomy. Cryoprexy, FGE, EL and tricort were used when required. 4 patients showed drastic improvement in BCVA whereas there was no improvement in remaining 2 cases.
