FP1076 : Clinical Correlation of Optic Disc Edema with Serous Retinal Detachment

Hereby presenting five cases of optic disc edema with serous retinal detachment which turned out to be five different clinical entities namely Vogt Koyanagi Harada disease, Sympathetic Ophthalmitis, Posterior scleritis, Uveal effusion syndrome and malignant hypertension.

Each entity was diagnosed with appropriate investigations including detailed history, fundus flourescein angiography, B-scan etc and was treated accordingly. The importance of differentiating them has been highlighted as the management guidlines and prognosis of each differs.
