FP96 : Melanocytoma of the Optic Nerve Head a Diagnostic Dilemma

Melanocytoma of the optic disk is a hamartoma with malignant potential. At times, it may be confused with malignant melanoma. We describe the clinical features, autofluorescence, B­scan ultrasonography, coherence tomography, fluorescein angiography and visual field testing which helped us to differentiate it from malignant melanoma and confirm the benign nature of the tumor.
