Purpose – To investigate epidemiological, clinical, therapeutic and prognostic factors in cases of inferior rhegmatogenous retinal detachment treated with scleral buckle surgery.
Methods  – A Retrospective study of 12 patients with inferior rhegmatogenous retinal detachment treated with scleral buckle surgery over 2 years from year 2014 to 2015 was performed. Parameters included were-patient demographics, time until  consultation, refractive status before surgery and at 1st and 3rd month after surgery,clinical examination data, anatomical and functional results and further treatment modalities
