Method: In 50 cases corneal endothelial cell density (in cells per sq mm) will be recorded pre operative and 1day, 1week and 1 month post operatively. Corneal keratometric readings will be taken pre operatively and 1day, 1 week and 1 month post operatively. Primary diagnosis and diabetes status will also be considered.
Subgroup analysis will be done to compare pure posterior segment surgery with the one in which anterior segment maneuver is done. The control group will be uneventful cataract surgery.
