This video demonstrates the use of Laser spectroscopic studies on the anterior lens capsule to bring out new information on the molecular level changes in the capsule when stained with trypan blue. The changes in the physical characteristics of the dye stained capsule will be validated and will suggest new guidelines to select the concentration and exposure time of the dye to suite the surgeon.
