As popularity and acceptability of the Phakic IOL grows among ophthalmologists,
doctors are bound to face some tricky situations for which they need answers which are no-where to be found in text books. The only source is some verbal tips from the company representative or some highly experienced surgeons. Having done over 2000 Phakic IOL’s which include the ICL and the Verisyse lens over the last 12 years, the author has meticulously recorded all his surgeries. He has faced several tricky situations over these years, and has been able to nd solutions after attending seven international ICL users meets and discussions with national and international experts. The author now presents about 40 short video’s and photographs on difficult situations, asks the audience on how they would manage the situation, and then
poses the question before a panel of experts. After the panel opinion, the author will share his video of how he now managed the situation.
