Aim: To address the prevalence ,treatment outcome and prognostic factors of ocular tumors.

Method:A 1 year prospective review of ocular tumor patients admitted in a tertiary care hospital from July 2015 to May 2016.Patients were studied in terms of age, sex, chief complain, time of presentation, associated ocular and systemic findings, treatment received and recurrence. Local examination of tumor, ocular and systemic examination,MRI (Brain + Orbit),CT (Head + Orbit), histopathological examination was done.

Result:32 subjects with ocular tumors out of which 17 were extra ocular tumors & 15 were intraocular tumors.17 extra ocular tumors,8 were benign(6 eyelid tumors,1 conjunctival tumor,1 haemangioma & 9 were malignant(5 eyelid tumors,3 conjunctival tumors,1 muscle tumor).

Conclusion: Prevalence of retinoblastoma is maximum followed by eyelid tumors and conjunctival tumors. Social and educational barriers leading to delay in hospital admission are poor prognostic factors.
