Compare High(HVP) VS Low Volume Phacoemulsification(LVP) Outcomes in tertiary hospital in Central India,in 30-day period,in terms of Quality gauged as Intra-op. VS Post-op. complications & their management(on day1 & 30)
M:Prospective,randomized,observational study done on 230eyes of 230cases.at tertiary hospital in Central India,total 4 mth duration.Cases undergone phacoemulsification,by 3 experienced surgeons,divided into 2gps:(A)pt. in low volume mth & B) high volume mths.Complications divided into sub-gps:mild;moderate & severe before Outcomes of 2gps were compared with above parameters.
R:Comparing HVP VS LVP:Difference in intra-op.(p=0.59),1st day post-op. (p=0.65) complications & 1mth post-op. complications (p=0.18) not statistically significant
C:Gauged as intra-op.,post-op.complications on day1 & day30 F/U,HVP does not affect quality as compared to LVP,in 30-days,at tertiary hospital in central India.
