FP1131 : Management of Acute Corneal Hydrops in Keratoconus By Descemetopexy Using Perfluoropropane Gas

Purpose- To report a case of acute hydrops in a patient of keratoconus treated by intracameral injection of C3F8 gas

Design- Interventional case report.

Methods- 0.1ml of gaseous cocktail (2parts of C3F8 and 3parts of filtered air) was injected intracameral in the operating room under aseptic precautions

Results- There was rapid resolution of corneal edema after 1week

Conclusion- Intracameral Perfluoropropane(C3F8) gas may be a useful modality for treatment of corneal edema in Acute corneal hydrops
