Introduction: Sinonasal malignancy is rare and delay in diagnosis will have impact on prognosis.
Case report: A 30-years-female presented with difficulty in breathing ,headache for 4 months and prominence of right eye and progressive blurring of vision for the last 1 month. Examination revealed proptosis and nasal polypoidal mass. Ocular examination revealed a mass( 20x10mm) in superomedial quadrant of right orbit. Visual acuity of right eye was CF ½ meter. Right eye fundoscopy revealed papillitis and B-scan was normal. MRI scan revealed 4.7 x4.5 x3.7 cm mass originating from right nasal sinus and extending into right frontal lobe, intra and extra conal components of orbital cavity. Endonasal biopsy was done. Histopathology revealed infiltrating squamous cell carcinoma.She was managed with glucocorticoids and surgery ( antrotomy and debulking).
Conclusion: Early suspicion of sinonasal malignancy and imaging helps in early diagnosis, avoiding ocular complications and impacting prognosis
