PURPOSE: To report two interesting cases of lid lesions.

METHODS:Case 1: A 51 F presented with a 4 month old gradually progressive pale nodular 1*1.5 cm lesion with clinical suspicion of chalazion in right upper lid. Excision biopsy with 0.5cm free margin was done. Histopathology revealed Adenoidcystic Carcinoma arising from meibomian gland. Patient developed wound gaping and secondary wide excision was done

Case 2: A 65 F presented with 2 month rapidly progressing irregular lesion of 2*3 cm over the medial canthus of left upperlid with clinical suspicion of meibomian gland Carcinoma. Excisional biopsy with 1cm margin was done. Histopathology revealed benign Pilomatricoma.

CONCLUSION: By the above cases, we can observe that the pathological behaviour of lid lesions is far different from their clinical appearance. They also signify the importance of wide excision and that of histopathological examination of every case.
