FP1148 : Morning Glory Disc Anomaly (MGDA): A Rare Case Report

A 37 year old female came with diminished vision in right eye (Hand Movement) for 12 years. Refraction showed myopia but vision didn’t improve beyond 6/60. Slit lamp Examination was with in normal limits.

Fundoscopy revealed enlarged, excavated optic disc with central whitish tuft and peri-papillary chorio-retinal pigmentary changes. Radial, straight, narrow retinal vessels emerging from disc were seen.

VEP showed decreased amplitude waveform with increased latency. Other investigations including MR Angiography Head and Neck were normal. The case was diagnosed as Morning Glory Disc Anomaly with Posterior Persistent Fetal Vasculature with Amblyopia (Right eye).
