Aim: To display a cost effective technique which provide excellent cosmetic correction with preservation of globe.
Method: We have displayed technique for preservation of structure of the eye ball. In cases of any disease where vision may not be salvaged and destructive procedure is advised, we have used this technique by which conjunctival flap is covering cornea followed by custom made artificial eye. As a result of which artificial eye may be fitting over conjunctival flap, full movements preserved and foreign body sensations are prevented.Gu
Conclusion: Gunderson flap is good cost effective alternate for evisceration.
