This video suggests 4 varied situations of IOFB removal 1 IOFB impacted at the macula 2 IOFB with Retinal detachment 3 IOFB antrerior to the equator and20/20 vision 4 IOFB at the pars plicata. The varied situations that were followed in all the cases is illustrated in all these videos. The techniques of vitrectomy ,the immediate measures to remove the IOFB with magnet, the methods of PVD induction, the use of belt buckle in specific situations,the complications that can happen with Impaction of the IOFb at various locations are clearly illustrated. The post operative rehabilitation with an intra ocular lens in varied situations are clearly explained .In the case of pars plicata IOFB removal was done by an atraumatic technique which is illustrated. The retinal folds which can occur with retinal detachment and release of these folds are illustrated.
