A case report 46 year old lady admitted on 13/6/15 to 13/7/15 with chief complain of swelling of right upper eyelid from one and half year. FNAC reports were suggestive of Sebaceous Gland Carcinoma. Wide surgical excision of the mass with frozen section biopsy was done and confirmed by HPE. Lid was reconstructed with lateral cantholysis and tenzel semicircular flap.
DISCUSSION:It is a well known masquerader, especially as chalazion or blepharoconjunctivitis. The purpose of our case report is to re-emphasize on high index of suspicion and a low threshold for full thickness eyelid biopsy in atypical and recurrent presentation of benign lid lesions especially in elderly.
