FP631 : Case Report : Unilateral Optic Disc Edema in A Child with Tuberculoma

A 11 year old child presented with rapid painless loss of vision in left eye 6 days duration. History of GeneralisedTonicClonicSeizures 20 days back. On examination : Vision RE 6/6 ,LE PL PR accurate, Anterior segment normal Fundus: RE normal, LE Unilateral disc edema. Mantoux negative. CSF analysis: no tubercular organisms. MRI (contrast) suggestive of tuberculomas in B/L frontal, left Temporal and Right Cerebellar hemispheres. Child was started on CAT-I ATT with alternate day therapy. On one month review child’s vision improved to 6/60 and resolution of Disc edema. Tuberculomas usually present with Bilateral disc edema,Unilateral presentation is rare.
