FP714 : Effect of Prostaglandin Analogues in Contralateral Eye During Uniocular Usage

20 cases of angle recession glaucoma and pseudoexfoliation glaucoma with no contraindications for prostaglandin analogue were included in the study. Study conducted in a tertiary care center in Chennai. All cases were started on travoprost eyedrop once daily at bedtime for one eye and intraocular pressure reading were taken at office hours thrice at three hours interval. Intraocular pressure measurement of both eyes were recorded at the end of six weeks at office hours thrice at three hours interval. Results were analysed. Conclusion: Instillation of prostaglandin analogue in one eye has statistically significant intraocular pressure reducing effect on other eye.
