A 20 years old girl presented with pain, redness and foreign body sensation in left eye for last 3 weeks. On examination, there was a corneal lesion with stromal defect which was extending from 10 o’clock position to 2 clock position , 4mm inferiorly from superior limbus. Vascularization involving the bed of the ulcer with undermined and infiltrated leading edge and rest of the cornea was transparent. A descemetocele at 2mm from the limbus at 11 O’clock position which was 2×2 mm in size. On general and Systemic examination revealed no major illness. Routine investigations were within normal limit and no organism found on microbiological study. Improvement of the lesion was shown after topical steroid, tear substitutes, cycloplegic and peritomy. The case was diagnosed as a case of Mooren’s ulcer. We are presenting this case because of the younger age of the patient with unilateral presentation.
