Introduction – Primary extradural meningiomas are very rare tumors, accounting for only 1-2% of all meningiomas.68% involve calvaria.Frontoparietal, orbital regions are the most common locations.Aim- to describe a case of ptosis in a 15year old male due to meningioma.

Methods – a 15year old male presented with mild ptosis in left eye, mild swelling in left upper lid.On everting the lid,a small mass was seen.NCCT head revealed an extra axial mass lesion causing erosion, sclerosis, mild expansion of left frontal bone.CEMRI showed an intensely enhancing well defined mass lesion in left frontal bone -extraaxial,intradiploic in location;depressing eyeball inferiorly, causing proptosis.

Result – Based on radiological investigations,a diagnosis of meningioma was made and wide surgical excision was done and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis.

Conclusion – extradural intradiploic meningiomas are rare and meningioma causing ocular symptoms is even rarer, but CEMRI helps in diagnosis.
