Methods: Case series of five patients who presented with anterior uveitis with hidden systemic illness.

Results: In the period of 3 months (Feb 2016 to April 2016) 5 patients were diagnosed to have uveitis secondary to some systemic diseases. All 5 patients were not known to have any systemic illness prior to presentation. Anterior uveitis was present in all patients. After complete systemic evaluation and investigations all 5 patients were diagnosed to have some serious systemic issues.

Conclusion : Uveitis may be associated with many systemic diseases. In some cases intensive treatment to systemic component is required to prevent life threatening complication. It is therefore critical that detailed history and reviews of systems be conducted on every uveitic patient.
