Iris prolapse can lead to increased post operative inflammation, hyphaema, iris transillumination defect, distorted pupil, sometimes vision threatening complication like posterior capsular rent. This video deals with mechanism, different predisposing factors for iris prolapse. It also deals with different preventive measures and surgical techniques in managing intraoperative iris prolapse.
