Aim: A video series to demonstrate the patterns of ocular trauma in Indian paediatric population.

Method: In this video series the various pattern of ocular injuries and classifying them on the Birmingham Eye Trauma Terminology System (classification) will be demonstrated. The various surgical techniques which we have taken while managing them surgically based on classification or pots (paediatric ocular trauma score) will be demonstrated. Result: The pattern shown are close globe injuries at anterior segment level i.e. Lid and adnexal injuries and its management, management of cornea, scleral foreign bodies or wound, traumatic cataracts, & then open globe injuries of sclera, cornea, lenticular origin surgical techniques by corneal, oculoplastic and retinal surgeons at our institute.

CONCLUSIONS: Meticulous planning and management of wound injury as depicted in these videos is important to improve overall visual outcome of a child and restoring his health status.
