Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is responsible for 15% of all causes of childhood blindness in developed countries and up to 60% in middle income countries. It has become an important cause of blindness in developing economies. This course will provide the current ROP screening guidelines, methods of screening, treatment by laser, anti-VEGF injections, surgery and rehabilitation. Attendees will be updated on guidelines for ROP screening, treatment along with recent advances. At the end of this course, the participants will be able to apply ROP related knowledge in their clinical practice.
