Scleral spacer surgery is a less popular but very effective technique for cases of severe upper lid retraction/ lagophthalmos impending to exposure keratopathy. This video film aims to showcase the technique of transplanting donor sclera into upper lid space between levator aponeurosis and tarsal plate and hence correcting lagophthalmos. The video will demonstrate, technique of preparing scleral graft, sizing, surgical dissection of levator and suturing scleral graft with its surgical results.
