Aim: To Simplify failed DCR Surgery by no flap technique with best possible result.
Method: External DCR was performed same as Toti’s no flap techenique. 8mm Arruga bone trephine was used to make osteum in lacrimal bone and nasal mucosa. On fifth day sac syringng with 1 ml of 0.4mg/ml mitomycin c. These patients were followed up for one year. The success criteria were symptomatic relief from epiphora and dacryocystitis and a patent nasolacrimal duct upon syringing.
Results: success rate was 99.4%. Conclusions: DCR with 0.4mg/ml MMC syringing on fifth postoperative day has a very high success rate (99.4%) with reliability.
