Ocular trauma is one of the leading cause of blindness amongst certain occupations and also in pediatric age group. Treatment and prognosis of trauma depends a lot on the initial severity of impact. When a young 5 year old boy presented with trauma with wooden broom during fight with his sister, the first impression was not so positive with a wooden foreign going in the eye through cornea. USG showed a long FB piercing in retina. 23G Pars plana vitrectomy was planned and executed. It was incredible to watch a 20 mm long FB coming out from eye.
