AIM: Dislocation of an IOL into vitreous can comprise through ruptured posterior lens capsule or widening aperture of posterior capsulotomy. Dropped PC-IOL may be a serious challenge that cataract surgeons face. There are much risks involve when one faces a situation of IOL going down and trying to rescue it ending up damaging more.

Method: In this video we are showing various technique to retrieve an “IOL” after an adequate vitrectomy. Dropped PC- IOL is returned to the right place efficiently in a manner to avoid much tissue handling. It also reduces the surgical time, excessive tissue handling, complication thereon and need for another IOL placement.

Conclusion: Prompt surgical management in cases of dropped PC-IOL yields good results.
