Aim: we would like to evaluate results of LASIK operated by MEL 90

Method: We enrolled prospectively all patients for lasik. We have documented all parameters per operative, per operative and post-operative. We have done clinical examination and refraction postoperatively, we have compared pre and post-operative visual acuity. All data exported in SPSS22 and analysed.

Results: We operated 124 eyes with mean age 25.8+/-7.2, mean pre op sphere was -3.11+/-3.9. 99.1% eyes achieved 6/9 unaided, significant difference was found when compared withpre op vision. We did not find any serious complication.

Conclusion: MEL 90 is very effective and safe modality for refractive surgery.
