PURPOSE: Choristoma of the eye are common epibulbar and ocular tumours in children, but osseous choristoma of the eye are very rare with few case reports being published in literature. We report one such case.
METHOD: A 10-year-old boy was brought to our hospital in November 2015 because of a mass in left eye. His mother reported that she noticed this mass since last 2 months. The child complained of irritation in the left eye since 2 months. There was no history of trauma, surgery and systemic disease. On initial examination, his best-corrected visual acuity was documented to be 6/6 (20/20) OD and 6/6 (20/20) OS with no refractive error OU. Biomicroscopic examination revealed a superotemporal located, elevated, subconjunctival mass approximately 7mm x 8mm in the left eye. Biomicroscopic examination of right eye was normal. Dilated fundoscopic examination was normal OD and revealed a lattice inferiorly in OS. Extraocular motility was full bilaterally and lid fissure height was equal bilaterally.
RESULT: On computerised tomograph
