FP1170 : Correlation of Central Srf(Oct)& Bcva and Time Duration for Complete Resolution in Idiopathic CSCR

Dr. Barun Garg, Dr. Das Shubhra

Prospective study conducted in a tertiary care hospital
Aim-1.To find out any significant correlation between central sub retinal fluid thickness(OCT) and best corrected visual activity in idiopathic CSCR
2.To find out any correlation between central sub retinal fluid thickness(OCT) and time required for complete resolution of idiopathic CSCR

Method-Cases of idiopathic CSCR were taken up for the study irrespective of age, sex and clinical variation
Cases which completely resolved on OCT were statistically analysed (n=50)

Conclusion- 1)the study showed positive correlation between central srf thickness(oct) and time required for complete resolution of idiopathic cscr
Majority of cases with central srf thickness <100um got resolved within 1month (71%) ,200-300um resolved in 6 months(67%), >400um in 9-12 months
2) there was significant negative correlation (p value-0.0202, spearman correaltion factor= -0.3275) between central srf thickness and best corrected visual acuity
