FP1230 : A Study of Psychological Evaluation and Effects of Anxiolytic/ Antidepressant Treatment in Patients With Central Serous Choroi

Purpose:

1) To study types of psychological disorders or traits present if any, in patients with CSCR.
2) To study the effects of treatment of the psychological disorder if any, on the course and outcome of the patients with CSCR.

Setting: Study of 30 patients with CSCR (confirmed on fundus fluorescein angiography or Optical coherence tomography), who underwent a thorough psychological evaluation and treatment by the psychiatrists.
Followed up for maximum period of a year for detailed ophthalmic examination and monitoring the course and outcome of CSCR.

Method:Observational study of 30 Patients diagnosed with CSCR
Inclusion criteria-
1)Patients diagnosed with CSCR
2) Willing to undergo psychological examination and management if required.
3) Not suffering from any other debilitating disease.

Exclusion Criteria-
1)Pregnant women
2) Suffering from any other debilitating illness
3) Patients with history of psychiatric disorders.
