Dr. Raj Kumar Chourasiya, C12847

Material And Method – It’s A Prospective Study Done On Patient Who Came  For Nd Yag Laser Posterior Capsulotomy. After Recording Name ,Age And Sex Data,Preoperative Refraction ,Postoperative Refraction Recorded Especially With Autorefractometer From Old Record.Refraction Beofre Nd Yag Laser Capsulotomy Were Recorded.Patient Undergone  Nd Yag Capsulotomy And One Week  After Yag Capsulotomy,Refraction Recorded. Now The Refraction Was Compared With Early Postoperative,Late Postoperative Period And After Nd Yag Laser Capsulotomy. We Studied 200 Patient And Out Of Them,In 62% Of Patient The Refraction  Changes Towards Hyperopic Side And  In 10%Of Cases It Changes Towards Myopic Side And In 10% Cases It Shows No Changes  And In 18% Cases The Autorefractometer Shows Error.

Conclusion – After Development Of Posterior Capsular Opacity Refraction Do Change,And This Change In Refraction Could Be A Good Indicator Of Posterior Capsular Opacity.
