Purpose : External angular dermoids of the eye though the commonest site of a dermoid swelling in childrena handful of cases have been.reported so far. Further these are the first documented cases from this part of India.
Materials and Methods : Three girls and two boys, age varied from 5-8 years presented with a mass over right angular region, just below eye brow.A diagnosis of external angular dermoid was made and removals were done under General anaesthesia.
Results : All the five patients were without any cosmetic blemish post operatively.
Conclusion: Surgical intervention is the only means for excellent out come in such subjects.
