Aims: To compare outcomes of different techniques used in management of RRD.

Material & Methods: Prospective, single surgeon, observational & interventional Study. 62 cases of all age groups. On each follow up visit, patients had detailed evaluation in terms of BCVA, IOP, anterior segment biomicroscopy and dilated fundus examination.

Results: Age (mean± SD) years 36.8 ± 17.4, 66.1% male, 33.8% female, Mean Period of visual loss 4 Months. Macula was OFF in 81.65% subjects. 81 % have more then 3 quadrants RRD. Cumulative size of tear was found to be <3 disc dioptres in 54.81% subjects. BB +PPV +FAE +EL +SOI, being performed in 48.39 % second most common was PPV +FAE +EL +SOI in 27.42%. Median BVCA in follow up was 0.08 (0-0.5). In 90.52% retina was successfully attached.

Conclusion: On comparing the visual outcome we found that PPV+BB in PVR of grade 〉C1 had significant better outcome (p=0.001). Type of post-op intraocular tamponade had not affect the final visual outcome (p=0.26).
