A 29 year old male patient presented with painless blurring of vision RE for 1 day. He gave the history of ingestion of 100mg oral sildenafil tablet the earlier night. He had a similar episode of decreased vision following 100mg of sildenafil 2 months back, which resolved within 20 days. No other medications were taken by the patient.
On examination his uncorrected visual acuity of right eye was 6/60 best correcting to 6/24 with +0.5D and left eye unaided vision was 6/6. On slit lamp examination anterior segment of both eyes was within normal limits. On fundoscopy, there was serous macular neurosensory retinal detachment in right eye. Left eye fundus was within normal limits.
The diagnosis of CSR was confirmed On OCT which showed neurosensory macular detachment in RE. Fluorescein Angiography showed focal leakage. Laser was done considering second episode of CSR and for early rehabilitation of the patient.
