FP77 : Progression of Is-Os Length in Retinitis Pigmentosa

Objective: To present the progression of IS-OS(INNER SEGMENT-OUTER SEGMENT ) junction length in Retinitis Pigmentosa patients.

Methods: This is a retrospective study of 93 eyes (47 patients) who presented to the OPD of a tertiary care eye hospital between 2013 and 2015.Visual acuity,refractive error and OCT was done at 6 months,1 year and 2 years.

Results:The mean IS-OS length was 88.25 in RE and 110.36 in LE at first visit and 59.43 in RE and 85.27 in LE at second visit.

Conclusion:Retinitis Pigmentosa is a progressive disease which damages the rods and OCT helps understanding the prognosis.
