We report a case of unilateral focal choroidal excavation in a young adult who presented to us with complaints of diminution of vision in left eye for 3 years. Anterior segment and fundus examination of the right eye was normal. Fundus examination of the left eye revealed pigmentary changes temporal to the fovea, optical coherence tomography was carried out and a diagnosis of idiopathic focal choroidal excavation was made.
