Purpose: To report a case of 22 year old female presenting with conjunctival mass.
Methods: 22 yr old presented with a conjunctival mass in LE in 8-9 o’ clock limbal area. It was gradually progressive since 2 months with sudden increase in size in last 1 week. Visual acuity was 6/6 both eyes. It was 4 X 2 mm leukoplakic lesion with irregular surface and borders with presence of feeder vessels. No corneal invasion was seen. HIV test was negative . Excisional biopsy was done using rose Bengal staining to delineate margins .Free wide margins of 2-3 mm were taken.
Result : Histo pathology report showed dysplastic layer in entire epithelium but without basement membrane or stromal invasion making the diagnosis of Conjunctival Intra epithelial neoplasia.
Conclusion: OSSN being most common conjunctival tumor need careful examination and treatment with proper follow up. Prognosis significantly depends on time of presentation.Its important to rule of Squamous cell Ca with benign lesions.
