Introduction : Retinal arterial macro aneurysm(RAM)is challenging vision threatening due to exudation and haemorrhage. No uniform consensus defines managing RAM involving the papillomacular bundle.Options for RAM are limiting ,systemic control, observation, laser and managing SHH.

Aim : To present a case of RAM DME responding to intravitreal Ozurdex.

Methods : A 56 year old F with H/O DM,hypertension, stroke and OU proliferative DR with RAM at the PPMB in OS with VA 6/18.RAM was associated with intraretinal haemorrhages, exudation and DME.We advised intravitreal steroid implant as location of RAM precluded laser. H/O of CVA did not allow antiVEGFS. OU PRP was done for PDR.There was significant reduction inexudation and improvement in VA OS post Ozurdex 6/9 at 6 mths.Steroid use has not been reported for RAM.

Conclusion : Ozurdex is a viable option for RAM.Our hypothesis for improvement is steroids breaks the inflammatory cycle stabilizing BRB causing decreased exudation, edema and improved VA.
