A 22 years old primipara was hospitalized at 37 weeks gestation with headache and diminution of vision in both eyes for 1 day duration. Her blood pressure was 220/110 mm Hg. She had bilateral pedal edema and 3+ proteinuria. On examination, her visual acuity was hand movement in both eyes. Anterior segment examination and intraocular pressure was normal. Dilated fundus examination with IDO revealed intact papillae and bilateral exudative retinal detachment distributed mainly in peripapillary area and posterior pole in both eyes. One week after delivery , her visual acuity improved to 6/12 in right eye and 6/18 in left eye. At the end of 1 month, total resolution of bilateral serous detachment had occurred. Visual acuity recovered to 6/6 in both eyes.
