FP484 : Case Reports:Primary Endothelial Disorders with Risk of Glaucoma But No Disc Damage at Presentation

Dr. Tanisha Ojha, O17887, Dr. Swarnali Sen, Dr. Samiksha Choudhary

Orbital venolymphatic malformations of the orbit are congenitally occuring arborising networks of lymphatics and venous channels. The chief complaints are orbital mass, haemorrhage, proptosis, visual deterioration and diplopia in later stages. Pain is an occasional complaint with valsalva manoeuvre and menstruation. The conventional treatment includes surgical excision. Newer therapies include embolisation and sclerotherapy. The case which we present has manifold ramifications. One that such a location for extension of orbital venolymphatic malformations is rare. Secondly it is extremely rare to see these cases go to the full extreme, leading as far as to evisceration of the affected eye. Finally we found in our case the true utility of the novel treatment modalities for this condition. MRI,digital subtraction angiography(DSA) and DSA guided sclerotherapy stood out as the backbone for management. Hence this case.
