Purpose : To report two cases of primary endothelial disorders with risk of glaucoma but no disc damage on presentation in young-middle aged females.
Methods: Case 1: A female of 30 years presented to our OPD. On examination a BCVA of 6/6 (OU), corneal guttae (OS), corneal oedema (OS), with iris atrophy and pupillary distorsion (OS),an IOP of 20 mmHg (OU) and a CD ratio of 0.4 with healthy NRR was noted . Gonioscopy : 360 degrees open angles till SS(OD) and broad based PAS in all quadrants (OS). Specular microscopy: normal count (OD), decreased endothelial countand pleomorphism (OS). The case was diagnosed as unilateral ICE syndrome. Case 2: a female of 40 years presented to our OPD .A BCVA of 6/9(OD) and finger counting at 1 metre(OS), on examination corneal guttae(OU) ,corneal oedema and scarring (OS) with angle closure (OU) was noted ,IOP : 12mmHg (OU) and CD ratio of 0.4 with healthy NRR (OU) was noted. The case was diagnosed as bilateral Fuch’s endothelial dystrophy.
Conclusions: glaucomatous damage can be prevented in cases
