Clinical Audit of Glaucoma surgery

Introduction : Glaucoma surgery techniques vary and various factors are responsible for results . We need more clinical audits to figure out what factors are important for success in day to day practice

Methods :- We conducted a clinical audit of our cases of glaucoma surgery (both penetrating and non penetrating). We included only those patients who were being operated for the first time . We did a multiple regression analysis

Results :- The odds ratio were favourable if the age was beyond 60, patient was non diabetic . Non penetrating surgery had lower complications but also lesser IOP control .

Discussion : In this papers we discuss the prognostic factors for success with glaucoma surgery
