FP933 : Fibrovascular Tuft Around Ahmed Glaucoma Valve Tube

Dr. Vashist Urvish, V08550, Dr. Vikas Mittal

Aim: To report a case of fibrovascular tuft around the end of AGV tube in anterior chamber. Materials and methods: Ahmed glaucoma valve was implanted in left eye of a 33 years old patient with neovascular glaucoma due to vasculitis. Though IOP was well controlled, a fibrovascular tuft could be seen arising from iris and enclaving around the internal end of the AGV tube.

Results: The progress in the size of fibrovascular tuft was documented with serial photographs. However, the tube remained patent due to obliquely cut internal end.

Conclusions: This is the first reported case of fibrovascular tuft around AGV tube to the best of our knowledge.
