FP807 : A Cases Series of Non Integrated Orbital Implant At A Tertiary Care Centre

Aim : to present the implant stability ,complications, cosmesis and patient satisfaction after primary and secondary implantation of non integrated PMMA and Silicon spheres in anophthalmic socket over a period of 3 years.

Materials and methods : documentation of history , clinical details ,and photographs of all patients who underwent Implant placement between april 2012 to april 2015.Retrospective Interventional study.Patients with grade 3 contracted socket and beyond were excluded .Patient satisfaction was graded as(V) very satisfied ,(F) fairly satisfied and(P) poorly satisfied at the end of 3 months follow up.PMMA or silicon implants were randomly put depending upon availability.Follow up was first post operative day , 1 week ,5 week .COP was put at 6 weeks and patient reviewed within 1 week of COP placement and later every 6 months .

Results : 40 eyes of 40 patients underwent primary evisceration with implant or secondary implant placement .there were 10 females and 30 males .Age ranged from 6 years to 65 years.The preoperativ
