FP888 : Bilateral Choroidal Tuberculoma with Abscess in A Patient of Miliary Tuberculosis: A Case Report

Tuberculosis remains major global health burden having both pulmonary and extrapulmonary manifestation.Ocular TB being one of its extrapulmonary forms,is a result of hematogenous dissemination of primary infection.Choroidal mass or Granuloma called tubercles a rare manifestation may devlop in the early stages of inflammation.
We report a case of bilateral ,multiple small choroidal tubercles along with a large solitary abscess in one eye.The patient was an immunocompetent girl having weight loss and diminution of vision as the only presenting symptoms. Miliary TB was diagnosed using CT scan and Quantiferon TB Gold test.Based on the Clinical Investigations and history treatment with four drug regimen of ATT was started along with concomitant corticosteroids resulting in significant resolution of the disease after three months.
