Central Serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) is a retinal disorder commonly affecting young and middle-aged adults. This study analyses the clinical course of the disease and correlates the visual outcome with factors like patient profile, treatment given and recurrence of disease. 104 patients of CSCR with the minimum follow-up of three years were included in the study. The patients were in the age group of 24-85 years, with 88 males:16 females. Patients were followed up monthly with repeated OCT for three months. Patients with professional requirement of accurate vision, non-resolving CSCR at three months underwent DFA examination. Supportive medical management was done in all cases and laser therapy in selected cases. Majority of patients having first episode of CSCR had resolution of disease by fourth month, with restoration of vision to premorbid levels. Recurrent episodes of CSCR were associated with permanent macular changes and partial loss of vision.
